It was a privilege for me to travel to Kenya last year and see first hand the phenomenal impact Blood:Water Mission is having.  Now you can be part of this amazing story.

Today, Tuesday June 8th, Blood:Water Mission and Jars of Clay are partnering with K-LOVE and Air 1 for a day-long fundraiser called the Well:Done Project. In 2005, the generous support of K-LOVE listeners raised the initial $350,000 for B:WM's clean water projects in Africa, launching the 1,000 Wells Project. Teaming up with the ministries of these stations once again, we hope to reach listeners with an opportunity to wrap up this initiative by raising the funds to complete the remaining 110 clean water projects. Blood:Water is proud to partner with K-LOVE and Air 1 because they use their platform to engage their community of listeners to have a powerful impact in Africa and around the globe, such as their recent efforts in Haiti.

Throughout the day, Jars of Clay will be on-air sharing stories of individuals they have met throughout the years in sub-Saharan Africa in communities Blood:Water has been able to partner with: stories of dignity, hope and truth, stories of communities impacted because of the generous support of donors around the world.
